Once upon a time, in a little town,
Lived a boy named John, with a smile so bright and a golden crown.
He loved to play soccer, oh how he would run,
With his friends and family, oh what fun!

John was five years old, such a young chap,
But he had a big dream, to be a soccer star, oh snap!
He loved his team, Maccabi Tel Aviv,
They were his heroes, the ones he would never leave.

Everyday after school, he would rush to the field,
With his soccer ball and his Maccabi Tel Aviv shield.
He loved to score goals, he loved to play,
His teammates would cheer, "Go John, hooray!"

But one day, something happened that made John sad,
His best friend Ruth, got sick, oh it was really bad.
Ruth couldn't play soccer anymore,
And John missed her, he really did, that's for sure.

John went to visit Ruth, with a bouquet of flowers,
He wanted to cheer her up, in her lonely hours.
But Ruth was feeling down, she missed the game,
She couldn't play with John, it wasn't the same.

John knew he had to do something, to make Ruth smile,
He wanted his friend to be happy, even just for a while.
He had an idea, oh it was so grand,
He would bring Maccabi Tel Aviv to Ruth's land!

He asked his team if they could come,
To visit Ruth and play a game, oh what fun!
His teammates agreed, they were happy to help,
They loved John and Ruth, they were like a family, a pack.

On the day of the game, Ruth was so surprised,
She couldn't believe her eyes, oh she was mesmerized.
There were her friends, wearing Maccabi Tel Aviv shirts,
Ready to play soccer, oh it was going to be a day full of mirth.

John and Ruth cheered from the sidelines,
As the players ran, oh they were like fireflies.
The game was intense, both teams were strong,
But in the end, everyone sang the Maccabi Tel Aviv song.

Ruth's face lit up, she was so happy,
Her friends and her favorite team, oh it was so sappy.
John had made her dream come true,
He was her hero, her knight in shining blue.

From that day on, Ruth's sickness went away,
She was back on the field, playing soccer everyday.
And John, well he was still the star,
But not just on the field, he was a hero, both near and far.

So kids, always remember, to be a good friend,
To make someone smile, to lend a helping hand.
And just like John, you can be a hero too,
Just be kind, be brave, and always stay true.

And as for John, his love for Maccabi Tel Aviv,
Grew even stronger, oh it was such a relief.
For they brought happiness and friendship in his life,
And that, my dear friends, is the greatest goal in any strife.
